A fun day exploring the US Virgin Islands by catamaran. We spent most of the time swimming in the warm turquoise waters of Hawksnest Bay and watching for turtles. It is such a beautiful paradise on the north shore of St. John.

Old San Juan is so pretty with its Old World elegance and vibrant atmosphere. I love walking along the blue cobblestone streets and past colorful buildings, historic fortresses, and old city walls, some of them date back to the 16th century. My favorite part is hearing the salsa music pour out of so many doorways and following the scents of the delicious Puerto Rican cuisine.

We made it in time for sunset on Grace Bay 🌅
Woke up to a beautiful first day and excited to enjoy it!
I love our accommodations, a spacious two story and two bedroom suite in a Key West style with a spiral staircase up to the third floor circular terrace. I think we’ll be very comfortable 😊
Good morning ☕️☀️🇹🇨
The Pirate Island water park is a lot of fun, even for adults and teenagers. There are areas for really young kids too but we loved the big slides, tube slides and the surf simulator.
Love the balmy evenings in the tropics 🌴🇹🇨
Another day on the beach 🌴
Love the stormy sky! ⛈️
Goodbye until next time…

Excited to go to Sandals Royal Grenada! It has been on my list for so long but the flight is long and expensive so it was put off a lot, we’ll finally I am going.
Left Miami with a rainbow in the sky and arrived in Grenada with another rainbow
🇬🇩
The best experiences in a new country are when you leave the resort and learn about local food and customs. We learned so much about the history of Grenada, the food and the people in a fun way. We learned how to make Grenada’s National dish, Oil Down, in a private villa overlooking the water. This purely Grenadian dish is made with breadfruit, coconut milk, dumplings, turmeric, callaloo, saltfish, smoked herring, chicken or salted beef. We chose chicken and fish for today. Plus we made fresh Caribbean style lobster salad and chocolate mousse. Grenada is known as the Spice Island and especially for nutmeg, but it is also known for some of the finest cocoa in the Caribbean. We enjoyed chopping and dicing while talking about all the different ingredients and the tradition of Oil Down. While it simmered on the stove we relaxed with rum punch and swam in the pool.
Enjoying the lazy days of summer in Grenada 🇬🇩
A swim out suite is a must on your vacation and having good friends to enjoy it with 😊

Sandals Royal Plantation is an all suite and all Butler boutique resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Set on a cliff, the views from every level down to the beach are gorgeous.
The entrance is so stately and Old World, I love it.
The lobby is just as elegant.
The property is small and beautiful, so easy to navigate. The views are beautiful in all directions looking over the sparkling sea. I love the contrast of the pink umbrellas and blue water.
The Spa and Gym above and then some pictures of the different rooms in the resort.
The game room and some areas to relax and look out over the beautiful grounds.
From the pool perched on the edge of the cliff down through the gardens to the beach, the resort is verdant and lush, a true tropical paradise. There is a casual beachside restaurant and bar right on the sand. In the evenings it is a gourmet restaurant on the water.
The beach is very nice, water sports available and plenty of places to relax with a book too.
The is the perfect resort for honeymooners or those that enjoy a more relaxed experience and boutique atmosphere. Every room having a Butler is another perk and the food and service are excellent. Sandals Royal Plantation is a favorite 💜

Sandals Ochi has a different vibe than the others, it is more lively and has a younger crowd with great nightlife.
There are two sides to Ochi, this is the beachside that is located on the water. Definitely the side you want to be on if you’re a beach lover.
The open air lobby has great views and beautiful colors. There’s also a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner right off the lobby and the lobby bar. The bar also has a great outdoor terrace with fire pits, comfortable seating and spectacular views.
The beach side is spread out along the beach with a few different areas for swimming and a few different pools.
The pizza at Sandals is really good! Perfect for lunch by the pool. There is also a theater over on this side and they had some great musical performers at night.
The other side across the street is much larger and spread out. You take a quick 5 minute shuttle ride back and forth. The pool here is much larger.
The spa is small but has everything you need for rest and relaxation.
The beach front Club Level room has amazing views and the best location right on the beach.

One of the finest resorts in the Caribbean, Jumby Bay Island Resort is a private island paradise surrounded by turquoise seas and powder white beaches.
With private residences and villas spread out over 300 serene acres, it’s safe and is exactly what people need now. A place to reconnect with nature, in an unhurried atmosphere with meticulous attention and service.
Welcome to Jumby Bay
Watching the storm roll in with a specialty cocktail
Jumby Bay Island Resort is a luxury all inclusive private island paradise. I love that there are about fifty private residences on the island, each with its own charm. This private island is two miles off the coast of Antigua with pristine white beaches and aquamarine water.
I LOVE the 1830 Bar! This and the Estate House are the signature bar and restaurant of Jumby Bay. The circa-1830 colonial-style structure is the oldest building on Jumby Bay. It features a varied rum collection, local artwork and private dining rooms that highlight menus from regions of the West Indies.
Good Bye and be back soon!

Hermitage Bay in Antigua is a luxury boutique resort nestled on the hillside of a hidden sandy bay. Just arriving after a long day and excited to explore this beauty!
The Hillside Pool Suites dot the mountain and have spectacular views from the open air rooms. You don’t ever have to leave them!
First glimpse of my Hillside Pool Suite at Hermitage Bay in Antigua. It’s absolutely beautiful even in the rain 💗
Look at all the space you have and the gorgeous hardwoods. The bathroom is even beautiful, especially when you open that window over the tub during the day.
I am ready for dinner but don’t want to leave my suite.
Look at how beautiful the dishes are, and they tasted even better.
There is live music every night, it is a great local band that plays jazz to reggae to modern hits. The resort is so small that you can hear it in the lounge and the restaurant which are both open air. It was the perfect volume as to not disturb dinner conversation but enough to make it lively, I really enjoyed them. After dinner you make your way over to the lounge to enjoy the music and a cocktail.
Good morning Antigua! I arrived yesterday after one of the worst storms the island has had in about 50 years. Everything was flooded and the skies were gray, it will be clearing up today.
What a view, I love Antigua!
A beautiful morning at Hermitage Bay, local Antiguan breakfast, an adorable guest joined me and it is finally clearing up today!!
Some sunny views of the hillside suites
Yes, I will just sit here all day
Goodbye Hermitage Bay, I don’t want to leave…I will be back!
