Delta One Service

I loved the service for Delta One from LAX. We flew to JFK and the reception there was just as great.

Walking into the check in lounge.

Rowan looking at some of the snacks.

They took our bags for us and walked us to the Sky Lounge to wait for our flight.

They drove us on the tarmac directly to our plane!

Upon arrival in New York we were whisked behind the scenes and walked through the back of the airport.

Two Porches waiting for us, drove us through the back of the airport.

And the back door into baggage claim where they got our bags for us.

Delta One is a great experience!

Ensenada

When we visit Ensenada we always eat!

Carnival Inspiration 2019

Crown Princess 2016

Since Anthony Bourdain loves Le Guerrerense I had to try it too. It’s just a street cart in an unassuming area of Ensenada. It is surrounded by bags of fresh shellfish, from clams and oysters to sea urchin and snails. Their specialty is tostadas and they shuck the shellfish right in front of you, slice it up and top the tostada, then of course a fresh squeeze of lime and some avocado. It is the freshest and tastiest tostada I have ever had! We tried so many of them and they were about $3.50 each! We will definitely be back.

Puerto Vallarta 2017

November 2017

Ruby Princess Thanksgiving Cruise

Great morning in Puerto Vallarta, México.

The boys discovered baby sea turtles emerging from the sand!! The conservationists quickly arrived and the boys were able to help scoop them all up, over 80 were in the nest!

They collect them and keep them cool and comfortable until sunset when they are released. This greatly increases their chances of survival.

This was the highlight of the trip for the boys. They were able to release one of the babies and watch them make their way safely to the water.

Mazatlan

November 2017

Ruby Princess Cruise

Today we went to Stone Island to relax in Mazatlan, Mexico.

The boys were playing with all the local animals.

Rowan played some music for the locals and they loved it. Mazatlan is known for their shrimp, it’s their number one industry. It’s so fresh, like none you’ve ever tasted. We had it a few different ways, crispy, ceviche and aqua chile-the best I’ve ever had. It’s just tossed raw in freshly squeezed lime juice, sliced red onions, cucumber slices and chopped chile peppers.

Stopped at a cute courtyard bar in Mazatlan for some tequila before we head back to the ship. The sunset was beautiful as we sailed away.

Frogs.

Carnival Miracle

This cruise was a Seminar at Sea hosted by Carnival to learn more about their new products and their ships. It was in March 2016 and sailed roundtrip from Los Angeles to Mexico.

The ship is midsize and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles the newer ships have but I really liked it. It is a very comfortable ship.

My cabin was very comfortable.

We got to meet the officers of the Carnival Miracle.

The Alchemy Bar is the best! The Chipotle Pineapple Martini is the best!

Carnival has great food and their lobster does not disappoint.

The main dining room is very “Farcus” but somehow works and the waiters are also showmen!

Some views around the ship.

Our Seminar at Sea group.

I spent the day at Breathless Cabo San Lucas and had a relaxing day with spectacular views!

A day in Puerto Vallarta was perfect!

More gorgeous sunsets and a good time with other travel agents. Thank you Carnival Cruise Line for a great week!

Crown Princess

We took a quick 4 day cruise on the Crown Princess in February 2016 from Los Angeles to Catalina and Ensenada.

I love a four day cruise for a short escape, makes a big difference from a three day.

Good morning Catalina Island, excited to explore.

We rented a golf cart to get around the island today. Got some great views down into Avalon and the ship anchored offshore.

The famous Casino is a landmark of Catalina.

We spent some time at Descanso Beach Club because it was such a beautiful day. Then of course we had to stop at the infamous Luau Larry’s for a tropical drink, a typical Tiki Bar. It I is supposed to be the “noisy bar in Avalon” from the Crosby, Stills & Nash song Southern Cross.

Back to the ship for a swim and my favorite afternoon tea and scones!

The Atrium of the ship is where there is a lot going on in the evenings.

Nice and relaxing day at sea.

I love Movies Under the Stars and so do the boys. Tomorrow we will stop in Ensenada.

Cozumel 2017

We spent the day at Secrets Aura Cozumel when we stopped here on a cruise. It is a good resort but could use some updating. The beach is pretty but not smooth sand, a little rocky.

Ruby Princess

November 2017

Mexican Riviera Cruise

Our Thanksgiving Cruise was compliments of Princess Cruise Line, I won it at our National Conference and Arnold Donald the CEO presented it to me. So thank you Princess!

The boys were very excited to spend the week cruising.

Our view when looking down from our balcony. A good reason to work with a travel agent-so you don’t have people looking down and watching what you do!

The boys love having room service delivered in the morning to hold them over until breakfast!

Enough salmon??

Relaxing day by the pool and tea and scones at 4pm. One of the things I love about Princess is the high tea every afternoon.

Some evening fun playing darts with the boys.

Great morning in Puerto Vallarta, México.

Came back to the ship and had our tea and scones! That evening the Maitre D’ arranged for an authentic Indian dinner for us. We mentioned how much we love Indian food and there are many who work in the valley that love to share their cuisine from home. I never like taking pictures of food after you start eating but this one is a must to show how amazing the food was!

Happy Thanksgiving from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Fresh ceviche

Rowan snorkeling on Medano Beach.

The obligatory stop at Senor Frogs.

Back to my balcony for afternoon tea and a book and some tequila, just because we are in Mexico!

Gorgeous sunset.

Thanksgiving dinner with the family.

Today the fog rolled in like smoke, we watched it and it was so cool. Then we were totally engulfed in it and couldn’t see more than a few feet in front of us.

Dinner on our last night was at Share by Curtis Stone. It was a really good meal, enjoyed it. But sad that this was our last night on the Ruby Princess.

Harmony of the Seas

October 2017

Caribbean Cruise

National Conference

I love our National Conferences, about 800-1000 of our travel agents get together for a week of training, fun and exploration onboard one of the newest cruise ships of the year. We were on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, one of the biggest cruise ships of all.

Dinner at Wonderland is a different experience, not for everyone but I really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend it if you are adventurous. If you are meat and potatoes you will hate it!

I had so much fun I made a short video of my dinner experience at Wonderland, click here to see it.

So excited for this week and Achieve 2017!

Beautiful ship and dinner with Holland America at 150 Central Park-a really nice specialty restaurant.

Our first port was Labadee, Haiti. Beautiful emerald green waters and lush verdant hills.

What a great day of relaxing with friends.

Tonight is the awards ceremony, always a great evening, like the Oscars!

This was the highlight of the whole week! Being named Agent of the Year blew me away!!!

Then I was awarded the Opal Award for women in their community.

And then won top producer for Disney and others.

Celebratory dinner at Jamie’s Italian, another specialty restaurant with Italian food by celebrity chef by Jamie Oliver.

Today we were in Jamaica and went to Sandals Montevideo Bay to relax.

We got antsy and went over to Sandals Royal Caribbean to see the overwater villas and the private island.

Had to stop at Scotchie’s for real Jerk on the way back to the ship.

Amazing to see how huge this ship is. This is our ship next to a mid sized Royal Caribbean ship.

Today was Halloween so it was a fun night on the ship and another great dinner!

Today were were in Cozumel and spent the day at Secrets Resort.

Back to the ship to try the slides before the storm!

Another fun evening and dinner at Chops in Central Park.

I have been waiting all week to conquer the Ultimate Abyss! And it wasn’t even scary!!!

Yet another fun cocktail party.

Last day and night we got away for some relaxation.

Until next year on the Bliss!
