Carnival Vista

We had our National Conference 2016 onboard the Carnival Vista for an 8 day Southern Caribbean itinerary.

The Vista is a whole new class of ship for Carnival and it’s beautiful and very big! I love the new color schemes and decor. There are sooooo many things for families to do on the ship from slides & splash pads to sky rides and ropes courses.

During the first session before we even left the dock I won a Princess Cruise! Arnold Donald, the CEO of Carnival Corporation and John Heald, Official Carnival Blogger, presented it to me.

First night fun at the party with friends and a taco from the Blue Iguana.

Another party tonight, picture with our CEO Brad Tolkin then an amazing lobster dinner. Our usual watering hole each night was the Havana Bar, my favorite! I just love the decor, the music and the drinks. Plus it opens onto an outdoor area at the back of the ship that is private during the day for Havana Suite guests only. It’s very tropical in theme with palm trees, cabanas and lounges around the pool.

Good morning Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos, one of my favorite island groups! Carole and I headed straight to the beach to relax in the crystal clear waters, powder white sand and swaying palm trees. I can just sit in the water all day!

The Chef’s Table was a culinary highlight! About 3 hours, you start in the galley and watch or help make many different appetizers to have with paired cocktails. The chefs tell you about the ingredients and methods, it’s very interesting. It’s fun, casual and entertaining. By the time we were halfway through I was stuffed! Then we were able to watch them make my favorite chocolate melting cake!!!

The Dominican Republic was another relaxing day. We were in La Romana and spent the day in the water and on the sand with cocktails.

More pictures of the ship, the Atrium, the Main Dining Room and another favorite place, the Alchemy Bar!

Tonight is the Awards Ceremony, it’s a highlight of the conference. It’s done like the Oscars with shows and entertainment between the different award categories.

I was proud to have won the Cruises Inc. Top Producer Awards for Disney Cruise Line and Disney Destinations!

Pictures with Debbie, Drew and Heather. What a great night!

We spent today in Curaçao and it was sunny then rain clouds, then sunny and finally the skies opened up! But we did get a gorgeous sunset and rainbow over Willemstad!

Day of work at sea.

But time for a nice Lobster Roll at the Seafood Shack.

Today we were in Aruba so we headed directly to beautiful Palm Beach and relaxed all day!

An amazing dinner with Drew, Mia and Carole at the Steakhouse. Food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Final dinner with friends until next year on the Harmony.

Haiti

We spent the day at Labadee, a private area in Haiti that is owned by Royal Caribbean and used as a stop for their ships.

It is so lush and green and the water is a clear emerald green!

Tina and I are excited for a relaxing beach day.

Heather and I are loving the water!

Ali and her crew had a cabana that was perfect for the day.

A perfect beach day at Labadee.

Sandals Royal Caribbean

I love this resort, it is small and intimate, plus it has an offshore island and overwater bungalows. It is located about 5 minutes away from Sandals Montego Bay but a much different experience.

Sandals Montego Bay

The original Sandals in Jamaica. It is the only Sandals that has the most repeat business, and it’s located right next to the airport. It does have a fun vibe and a great resort.

We stopped at Scotchie’s on the way back to the ship. It’s a great place to have authentic Jerk in MoBay!

Harmony of the Seas

Caribbean Cruise

National Conference

I love our National Conferences, about 800-1000 of our travel agents get together for a week of training, fun and exploration onboard one of the newest cruise ships of the year. We were on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, one of the biggest cruise ships of all.

Dinner at Wonderland is a different experience, not for everyone but I really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend it if you are adventurous. If you are meat and potatoes you will hate it!

I had so much fun I made a short video of my dinner experience at Wonderland, click here to see it.

So excited for this week and Achieve 2017!

Beautiful ship and dinner with Holland America at 150 Central Park-a really nice specialty restaurant.

Our first port was Labadee, Haiti. Beautiful emerald green waters and lush verdant hills.

What a great day of relaxing with friends.

Tonight is the awards ceremony, always a great evening, like the Oscars!

This was the highlight of the whole week! Being named Agent of the Year blew me away!!!

Then I was awarded the Opal Award for women in their community.

And then won top producer for Disney and others.

Celebratory dinner at Jamie’s Italian, another specialty restaurant with Italian food by celebrity chef by Jamie Oliver.

Today we were in Jamaica and went to Sandals Montevideo Bay to relax.

We got antsy and went over to Sandals Royal Caribbean to see the overwater villas and the private island.

Had to stop at Scotchie’s for real Jerk on the way back to the ship.

Amazing to see how huge this ship is. This is our ship next to a mid sized Royal Caribbean ship.

Today was Halloween so it was a fun night on the ship and another great dinner!

Today were were in Cozumel and spent the day at Secrets Resort.

Back to the ship to try the slides before the storm!

Another fun evening and dinner at Chops in Central Park.

I have been waiting all week to conquer the Ultimate Abyss! And it wasn’t even scary!!!

Yet another fun cocktail party.

Last day and night we got away for some relaxation.

Until next year on the Bliss!

Punta Cana 2001

I love the DR, lots of great memories there from our Wedding in 2001 to many visits after. I love the beaches and the water and one of my favorite places there is Samana!

The Paradisus Punta Cana is where we got married. About 25 of us were there for a five day wedding celebration.

The day of the wedding was so relaxing! All the details were taken care of and we were on the beach all day.

The best part was that the party wasn’t all over that night, we still had more days to celebrate.

Celebrity Edge

December 2018

Naming Ceremony

Celebrity Cruise Lines revolutionary new ship is designed to leave the future behind. It is the most anticipated ship of the year. I was invited to sail on the exciting naming ceremony with all the celebrations and exciting parties and activities!

Boarding the ship at their brand new terminal at Port Everglades, Florida.

The Magic Carpet in the side of the ship moves up and down.

The Iconic Suite is the most sumptuous Suite on the Edge and is over 1800 square feet, two bedrooms and an expansive private terrace with hot tub and lounges.

Eden is a multi-story venue that is enclosed by glass at the back of the ship with breathtaking views. There is a cafe and a restaurant plus a bar and many areas to lounge. Eden blends all the elements of nature that give it a unique feeling. During the even there are theatrical performances that move through the venue and are interactive. It’s definitely an experience.

We all met up in the Martini Bar for cocktails, then dinner, then Eden at night!

The Retreat is the exclusive sanctuary for every suite guest. There’s a sundeck with a lounge area, pool, hot tub, pool butlers, the Lounge with good and drink plus live entertainment.

Luminae is a deliciously exclusive dining experience for Suite Guests with modern, eclectic cuisine and extraordinary service.

The Sunset Bar at the back of the ship is a great place for expansive views and great drinks.

The Main areas of the ship are beautiful and elegant.

The restaurants are so beautiful and delicious! There are main dining rooms and specialty dining.

The naming ceremony was impressive with Malala Yousafzai as the Godmother.

We had a lot of fun at night too, cocktails before dinner, dinner, Eden, The Club, lots to do!

Thank you Celebrity Cruises for hosting me on the gorgeous new Edge.

Sandals Negril

September 2018

Love Negril! Back again to stay at Sandals Negril on Seven Mile Beach. Totally different vibe than South Coast but both are amazing.

The resort is longer than deeper as it follows along the beach so that you are never more than a minute or two from the water.

We had a great afternoon free to enjoy the resort and the beach. Our Butler was amazing and really took care of us all day.

We had a Sandals beach party that evening so we had some appetizers and champagne before the party.

The last morning was so beautiful, just didn’t want to leave.

Goodbye Negril, I will be back.

Rick’s Cafe, Negril

September 2018

Always a fun place to visit. Rick’s Cafe is the place to watch cliff divers on the westernmost coast of Jamaica. It is also the place to watch the sunset with reggae music and a Red Stripe.

Too bad it was overcast and we missed the sunset but we still had a blast!
