At the end of our epic journey to the end of the earth….a few days in Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is such a cosmopolitan city filled with rich history and beautiful architecture. The streets are lined with grand European palaces, cozy cafes and endless parks. You could close your eyes and when you open them think you are in Paris or somewhere in Spain, that is why it is also known as the “Paris of South America”.
I was so happy to spend the day with my good friend, and Buenos Aires local, Adrián. I have always wanted to visit Buenos Aires and am in love with this city more than I imagined. Thank you for sharing your home with me Adrián!

Soccer, the Tango, beef and red wine is what comes to mind when you think of Argentina. So of course I had to enjoy a few great meals.
🥩
What makes Argentine beef different is that it is grass-fed, distinctively cut, and cooked slowly using only salt on an iron grill called a parrilla. This drains off excess juices and prevents flare-ups that would burn the meat. The result is the best tasting steak I have had anywhere in the world. We had two different cuts with papas fritas, salad and red wine – plain and simple.
🍷
Our meal was extra special because it was Adrián’s birthday!!
